Top Branding Agencies in Ireland (Updated August 2026)
The companies in this list are ordered alphabetically by name. That is the only ordering applied, so a company's position implies no ranking, preference or assessment of quality.
A rebrand is an operations project with a design phase in the middle. The agency fee buys the identity and the guidelines that govern it — logo, palette, typography, tone of voice. The signage, the packaging, the stationery and the vehicle livery are what actually empty the budget, and they are almost never in the quote. Starting budgets on this list run from 900 to 4,500 euro.
Brandfire is on this list. We wrote our own entry with the same directness we applied to everyone else.
Identity, or brand-led marketing?
- Identity or marketing. Decide which you are buying. Identity produces a system. Brand-led marketing produces campaigns. Confusing the two wastes a budget.
- Deliverables list, in advance. Ask for the actual output list from a comparable past project. It cuts through the language quickly.
- Rollout cost, not design cost. Signage, packaging and print reprints dwarf the agency fee. Budget for them before committing.
- Reviews are scarce. Only two firms here have any. Ask for two references from clients who rebranded more than a year ago and can say how it held up.
- Whether verbal identity is in scope. Tone of voice and naming often are not, and the copywriting agencies here pick that up.
A rebrand is an operations project with a design phase in the middle. If nobody has costed the signage, the packaging and the stationery, the project is not scoped yet.
Most firms here sell branding as a bolt-on
Most "branding agencies" in Ireland do not sell branding as their main business. They sell web design, events or hospitality marketing and offer branding as a bolt-on. Neither approach is wrong, but knowing which one you are buying changes what to expect.
- Ask what proportion of their work is branding. A studio that leads with identity thinks differently about a brand than one for whom it is a service they also offer. Neither is automatically better, but the process differs.
- Know what the deliverable should contain. It is hard to judge a brand proposal without a reference point, so it helps to see how a brand strategy framework is structured before you read three of them.
- Check for sector specialism. A couple of firms here specialise in hospitality or events. A brand built by a specialist in your sector tends to land faster with your actual customers than one built by a generalist.
- Confirm what the guidelines document contains. Some agencies hand over a logo and a colour palette. Others deliver a full brand book covering tone of voice, layout rules and application across channels. Ask to see one before you sign.
- Ask about Irish language capability if it matters to you. A small number of agencies here list Irish as a working language, relevant for public sector or Gaeltacht-facing briefs.
The system, the guidelines, and the rollout nobody costs
A branding agency defines how a business looks, sounds and is understood, and produces the assets that carry that consistently across every channel: logo, colour palette, typography, tone of voice and usage guidelines. Some also extend into brand-led marketing, building campaigns and content around the identity rather than stopping at the guidelines document.
It sits outside a general marketing agency's day-to-day media buying and campaign execution, though the two frequently work together once the identity exists. Positioning and rollout are separately priced too: if the strategy is already settled, the graphic design agencies can apply it. And a brand platform stays invisible until something runs on it, which is the commission the creative agencies take. Businesses typically bring branding work in at launch, after a merger or repositioning, when the current identity actively undermines credibility, or ahead of a wider project like a rebrand-driven website rebuild.
The agency fee is the small number
Starting budgets published in this file run from €900 to €4,500. Most agencies here, including Whitespace design agency, Wasper Media, Davis Experience and Events, SPB Media and Stone & Vale, quote from €900, which buys identity work scaled to a small business. Brandfire publishes a higher floor at €3,000, and Hovi Digital Lab the highest at €4,500, reflecting a larger team and a broader performance marketing offer sitting around the brand work.
These figures are starting points, not full rebrand budgets. A design fee at any of these levels covers the identity system itself. The rollout across signage, packaging, digital assets and print reprints usually costs several times the design fee and should be budgeted separately from the outset.
We have selected and reviewed these companies based on factors such as their services, industry experience, reputation, client portfolio, pricing where publicly available, market presence, and other relevant business metrics. The information and pricing mentioned are based on details available at the time of publication and may change over time. We recommend verifying the latest information directly with each company.

Who they suit
Sectors are banking and financial services, government, energy and utilities, transport, and professional services. No project minimum is published. Brandfire works on the part of brand that happens after the identity exists: loyalty programme design, rewards and promotions, and retention marketing, from Dublin with a team of under ten since 2012.
How they work
The argument is that brand equity is built by behaviour as much as by colour and typeface. Clients typically arrive once the problem has shifted from getting noticed to getting existing customers to come back.
Who they suit
Projects start from 3,000 euro and it carries 70 verified reviews at 4.9, the highest count here by a wide margin. Brandfire also publishes this directory, which is why this entry sticks to the same checkable detail as the rest. It designs no logos, so for identity work it is the wrong hire.

Who they suit
Projects start from 900 euro. Sectors are non-profits, technology, sport and professional services, in English and Irish. Clients usually arrive with the visual identity already settled and need it translated into an event people remember. It will not design that identity for you.

How they work
Brand identity here is folded into a performance programme rather than sold as a creative exercise: AI-built websites, paid campaigns and content, with fractional Chief AI Officer consulting as an unusual extra. The listing states work with more than two hundred brands across Europe and the Middle East.
Who they suit
Projects start from 4,500 euro, the highest minimum here, with 5 verified reviews at 4.8 and a top-awarded badge. Sectors are technology, retail, property and hospitality. Ask for Irish brand work specifically, since most published clients are outside Ireland.

- 11-50
- Min project
- From €900
Ireland Website Design has operated since 2010, headquartered in Waterford with a team of 11 to 50, and its main business is websites and online shops.
How they work
Brand identity is offered as part of a digital build rather than as a standalone practice, which suits a company refreshing its look at the same time as replacing its site — one supplier, one timeline, no handover.
Who they suit
Projects start from 900 euro. Sectors are retail, manufacturing, professional services and non-profits. There are no verified reviews on the listing. It suits a business whose rebrand is really a website project with a new logo attached. - 1-10
- Min project
- From €900
SPB Media is a Dublin agency of under ten working only in hospitality, food and drink, and retail, on brand positioning, social advertising, social management and content.
How they work
The single-sector focus is the offer: an agency that already understands trading rhythms, covers and seasonality does not need that explained on your budget. Positioning here is expressed through daily marketing rather than a guidelines document.
Who they suit
Projects start from 900 euro. No website appears on the listing and there are no verified reviews. It suits a hospitality operator who wants positioning that shows up in bookings rather than in a brand book. For a full identity system across signage, menus and packaging, a design studio is the correct brief.

8. Stone & Vale
Best for smaller budgets needing senior input
- Location
- Letterkenny, Ireland
- Team size
- 1-10
- Min project
- From €900
Stone & Vale is a fully remote team of under ten based in Letterkenny, County Donegal, covering brand identity, marketing strategy, social management and content.
How they work
The people behind it came from larger traditional marketing firms, and having no office is what keeps senior time affordable on smaller budgets. That is the trade being offered: same experience, no Dublin address.
Who they suit
Projects start from 900 euro. Sectors are retail, hospitality and professional services. There are no verified reviews. It suits a business that values the work over the postcode. Capacity is the thing to confirm: agree turnaround times before you commit to a launch date, because a team this size cannot absorb a schedule slip.

A strong rebrand changes how a business looks and how it's understood, in a way that shows up the moment a customer sees it. What it doesn't do is give an existing customer a reason to buy again. Identity and retention are separate problems, and a new logo won't solve the second one. Brandfire designs and builds loyalty and rewards programmes for brands across Ireland, the kind of work that starts once the new identity is live and the real job of keeping customers begins.
Frequently asked questions
- How much does a rebrand cost in Ireland?
- Starting budgets on this list run from 1,000 to 5,000 euro, which covers identity work for a small business. A full rebrand across signage, packaging, digital and print costs multiples of that. The design fee is usually the smallest line in a rebrand budget.
- What does a branding agency actually deliver?
- It varies more than the label suggests. Some agencies deliver a visual identity system. Others deliver positioning, messaging and campaign work with design attached. Ask for a sample deliverables list from a past project before you brief anyone.
- When is it worth rebranding?
- When the business has changed and the brand no longer describes it, or when the current identity actively costs you credibility. Rebranding to look fresher rarely repays the disruption cost, particularly for businesses with recognised names in a small market.
- Should the branding agency also build the website?
- It reduces handover risk, and several firms here do both. The trade-off is depth: a studio strongest at identity may be average at build. If the site is complex, keep the brand work and the engineering separate and make the guidelines good enough to hand over.
