Top Branding Agencies in Ireland

Branding is the loosest label in the Irish agency market. On this list it covers identity studios, performance marketing firms, an events agency and a loyalty specialist. All of them will quote for your rebrand, and the quotes will not be comparable, because they are not selling the same thing.

What to look for in a branding agency

  • Identity or marketing. Decide which you are buying. Identity produces a system. Brand-led marketing produces campaigns. Confusing the two wastes a budget.
  • Deliverables list, in advance. Ask for the actual output list from a comparable past project. It cuts through the language quickly.
  • Rollout cost, not design cost. Signage, packaging and print reprints dwarf the agency fee. Budget for them before committing.
  • Reviews are scarce. Only two firms here have any. Ask for two references from clients who rebranded more than a year ago and can say how it held up.

A rebrand is an operations project with a design phase in the middle. If nobody has costed the signage, the packaging and the stationery, the project is not scoped yet.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a rebrand cost in Ireland?
Starting budgets on this list run from 1,000 to 5,000 euro, which covers identity work for a small business. A full rebrand across signage, packaging, digital and print costs multiples of that. The design fee is usually the smallest line in a rebrand budget.
What does a branding agency actually deliver?
It varies more than the label suggests. Some agencies deliver a visual identity system. Others deliver positioning, messaging and campaign work with design attached. Ask for a sample deliverables list from a past project before you brief anyone.
When is it worth rebranding?
When the business has changed and the brand no longer describes it, or when the current identity actively costs you credibility. Rebranding to look fresher rarely repays the disruption cost, particularly for businesses with recognised names in a small market.
Should the branding agency also build the website?
It reduces handover risk, and several firms here do both. The trade-off is depth: a studio strongest at identity may be average at build. If the site is complex, keep the brand work and the engineering separate and make the guidelines good enough to hand over.
