The Challenge

Power NI wanted a way to reward customer loyalty without tying the reward to a purchase - a straightforward, high-value perk that felt like a genuine thank-you rather than another promotion. The mechanic had to distribute a fixed pool of 250 cinema ticket pairs fairly across Northern Ireland, block the same customer from claiming more than once, and hand off cleanly to a third-party booking partner, Cinema Society, for redemption. It also had to run with minimal admin overhead - a self-serve claim flow for customers, and a dashboard for Power NI's team to launch, monitor and report on the campaign without manual intervention.

Built a branded, mobile-responsive claim platform

A landing page where customers enter their email address and instantly receive a unique 12-character cinema code, with redemption instructions and terms shown alongside it.

Engineered one-code-per-customer fraud controls

Email and IP address validation blocks duplicate claims, while legitimate returning customers can still re-access their existing code for up to four weeks.

Automated code distribution and exhaustion handling

Admins upload the 250 unique codes via CSV; the system assigns them in real time and displays a clear message once the pool is exhausted.

Integrated directly with Cinema Society for redemption

A seamless hand-off from code claim to ticket booking at participating Northern Ireland cinemas, with e-tickets issued by the redemption partner.

Gave Power NI a live admin dashboard
