The Challenge
Topline Group is a network of independently branded hardware and DIY stores trading under different names across Ireland - not a single centralised chain. The promotion needed a purchase-tied paint campaign judged on the quality of a written entry rather than a random draw, multiple competitions able to run at once within a single campaign, configurable prize tiers instead of one flat structure, and a store network that scaled to Topline's full footprint - all delivered through a platform built specifically around how Topline's stores and campaigns operate.

Built a dedicated receipt-upload promotion platform
A mobile-responsive platform purpose-built for Topline's paint promotion, covering receipt capture, validation, judging and prize fulfilment end to end.
Built a judged skill-test entry mechanic
A genuine test-of-skill step - a written answer of up to 100 words - scored against relevance, creativity, originality and clarity, with no random selection at any stage.
Built store support and campaign structure to scale
The platform supports Topline's full network of independently branded stores, with multiple competitions able to run concurrently inside a single campaign.
Built configurable, multi-tier prize management
Gave admins the ability to configure a tiered prize structure - grand prize, mid-tier vouchers, and mass-participation rewards - instead of one flat prize.
Added AI-assisted receipt validation with manual fallback
Automatic checks confirm store, date and qualifying product; unclear cases - illegible addresses, cut-off dates, suspected fake receipts - are routed to manual review to protect the integrity of a judged competition.
